In math this week we are practicing various skills to help us get ready for 3rd grade! Tomorrow we will start multiplying!

Data Collection
We wrapped up our Chapter on Data Collection last week. I had planned on doing this activity Thursday but the weather pushed us to yesterday. So we practiced sorting and tallying M&Ms yesterday!

Alabama Mobile Dairy Classroom
Today we had a visit from the Alabama Mobile Dairy Classroom. We learned all about cows and even saw how to milk them. The kids really enjoyed getting to see Bessie!

Habit #7: Sharpen the Saw
We have been learning about Habit #7: Sharpen the Saw. We did a writing activity telling how we sharpen our saws.

Habit #6: Synergize
Before Spring Break, we learned about Habit #6: Synergize. We learned a song and synergized and did a craft to put in the Synergize case at the front of the school.

Fun with Clickers
We use the clickers from time to time to review for tests and review skills on Study Island. Here are few pics from when we were par ting money on Study Island.
Each child has their own clicker to submit their answers. They LOVE to use the clickers!
