We wrote a story about the First Day of School.
We shared our "5 Things About Me" bags.
We started Chapter 1: Addition Concepts in math.
We colored our behavior logs.
We talked about Nouns and made our Language journal.
We took pics of ourselves with this fun frame!
Even Mrs. Blevins took one! After all it was her first day in 1st grade too!!
Tuesday was our first day of school! We did a lot of fun things!
We started off by writing a story and drawing a picture about our summer vacation.
We read "The Night Before First Grade" and "First Day Jitters". We wrote a story about what we had jitters about on our first day and made "jitter" juice to help us get over our jitters!
We went over our clip chart and 1st Grade Expectations. We also read "David Gets in Trouble" and made a list of things to do and to not do at school.
We also practiced our daily morning work. Everyone did great on it!!
Everyone did great on our first day!! I know we are going to have a GREAT year!!!
